LAURA ALBRECHT | Laura serves as a Digital Innovation Coach on the Professional Learning and Leading Collaborative team at The Friday Institute. She works with school districts across North Carolina to design, develop, and deliver professional learning to teachers and administrators. BRITTANY MILLER | The woman who pulled it all together! - Brittany is a Digital Learning Coach and Research Associate with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. EMMY COLEMAN | Emmy is a Senior Research Scholar and Design Strategist at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation and has been working in K-12 education for 25 years. Prior to joining The Friday Institute, she served as a classroom teacher, high school principal, and district administrator with a rural NC school district. Emmy served as the designer and founding director of Warren New Tech High School, promoting a curriculum focus on project based learning and STEM engagement. Across the years, her experiences working with teachers and administrators has allowed her to better support shifting cultures that strive to meet the needs of every learner. Utilizing a capacity-building model developed from several years of research within schools across rural NC, she develops and leads strategic planning processes for educators and leaders. Since 2009, Emmy has led program work centered on the design and development of customized professional learning for educators across NC schools and districts. Emmy earned a B.A. in English from the University of NC at Chapel Hill as well as her MSA in School Administration from North Carolina State University. elcolem2@ncsu.edu | @tarheel93
JACLYN STEVENS | Jaclyn is a Research Scholar and Digital Learning Coach with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. She is a unique combination of media designer and educator - beginning her career in education after her successful work as a media consultant and award winning designer. In her work, she supports educators & leaders in adaptive student-centered approaches to provide concrete, quality, purposeful, reflective and on-the-ground personalized learning supported through technology to work towards equity for all learners. Her mantra is to adapt, not adopt - fostering digital initiatives to transform professional learning through changes in pedagogical shifts and meeting the needs of all learners to champion creativity and innovation. jlbell@ncsu.edu | @jaclynbstevens
